Eoin’s most recent service marks a first for our business – on two counts.

First, it provides currency trades (amongst others). Eoin sees a lot of opportunities in the forex market right now given the political upheaval and fragile economic state in much of the western world. That provides canny traders with the chance to make a lot of money.

Second, Southbank FX uses leverage. As you’re probably, aware, that means any gains or losses you make will be magnified. Eoin uses leverage when trading his own money. He’s been extremely successful at it. If leverage makes you feel slightly uncomfortable, rest assured that Eoin is nothing if not cautious. He limits the amount he can ever lose on a trade by using stop losses. Southbank FX also incorporates short selling – where you bet on the price of an investment going down.

After starting the service in June 2017, Eoin has taken positions in, amongst others, the EUR/ GBP exchange, gasoline, a mining company and a cryptocurrency.

Eoin’s rationale behind these trades is the same as that in his other (unleveraged) trading service, Trigger Point Trader. He looks for a story… a ranging market (i.e. moving sideways)… and a catalyst.

Here’s an extract from Eoin’s report, which you’ll receive for FREE by taking out a no obligation 60-day trial to Southbank FX:

My perfect trade looks like this:

  • I know exactly how much I could lose before I start, by using a stop.
  • My potential profits could be at least double what my potential losses are (a win lose ratio of 2:1)
  • There’s a clear catalyst to attract capital to the position in our favour
  • A clear plan for when to exit as the trade is exhausted

This is exciting, high risk stuff. But by taking a methodical approach, you can make a lot of money by spread betting. You just need to know what you’re doing – and Eoin Treacy certainly does.

Risk warning
Your capital is at risk when you invest in shares, never risk more than you can afford to lose. Bid/offer spreads, commissions, fees and other charges can reduce returns from investments. Past performance and forecasts are not reliable indicators of future results.
Returns from recommendations in a currency other than sterling may increase or decrease as a result of currency fluctuations. Any dividends will be taxed at source in the country of issue. Some recommendations may be for funds. Fund performance relies on the performance of the underlying investments, and there is counterparty default risk which could result in a loss not represented by the underlying investment. Any small company shares recommended can be relatively illiquid and hard to trade making them riskier than other investments. Profits from share dealing are a form of capital gain and subject to taxation. Tax treatment depends on individual circumstances and may be subject to change in the future.
Trades recommended in The Brexit Speculator carry a high level of risk to your capital. Spread betting is not suitable for everyone. Prices can move rapidly against you and resulting losses may be more than your original stake or deposit. Margin amounts vary between spread betting companies and the type of markets spread bet. Always seek personal advice if you are unsure about the suitability of any investment.
