An update on our portfolio

I’ve recorded a video reviewing our current investment positions. I’m just back from China – I hoped to get this video out to you on Friday, but the Chinese authorities have stamped down hard on virtual private networks (VPNs), preventing me from using the video recording software and accessing Vimeo.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) pulled back abruptly on Friday, but this appears to be a consolidation – the Chinese appetite for mining Ethereum is increasing, and AMD stands to benefit from the strong demand for hardware.

Garmin has been ranging since we bought it, but it is bouncing from the region of its trend mean and I expect it to perform well in the future.

SolarWindow will be making an announcement on the production of its transparent solar cells on 7 September. If the update is positive, I believe there is significant potential for a big break to the upside.
