Inherent deflation

I’ve recorded an update on our portfolio, reviewing our current positions and explaining some of the themes which I believe are at play in the market. This week we take a closer look at how all technology is inherently deflationary – as productivity is multiplied by new devices, prices are driven down.

Meanwhile, Haydale Graphene has bounced back impressively from its lower range, and new applications for graphene are emerging on an almost regular basis – I am very confident that we will continue to see this company perform well in the future.

Alkane Resources is funding its rare earth operations with its gold production – as the gold price has been improving in recent days, this bodes well for the company.

Orocobre was in negative territory today, however I believe it is still building support – the question is more whether it can get lithium to the market fast enough, rather than whether it can get the lithium at all.
