NEW VIDEO: The Federal Reserve meeting and what this means for the markets

I had been waiting until yesterday to record this video update because it represented a significant day for the markets: the Federal Reserve meeting.

I think the outcome of the meeting represents either an all-change moment or at least a pause in the markets.

What I do in this video is give you a rational for reaching that conclusion and give a round-up of the portfolio as we have seen some profound moves both up and down.

I’ll focus on:

  • The shrinking balance sheet and why this removal of liquidity was the reason for the market pullback in December
  • The Powell Put and how it triggered the remarkable recovery, plus how the Powell Put will influence markets in the future
  • Finally, I look at the bond market and tech giants for some clear market signals.

I finish off with my reasoning behind why I think we could be at the beginning of the bubble phase of this bull market and what could trigger the next recession.
