Video analysis: everything you need to know about the markets now

It’s been a while since we’ve published a big-picture look at the world, the markets and the types of analysis we’re applying to our opportunities.
That’s why I arranged to get my co-editor Eoin Treacy to sit down with some charts, his microphone and to give you a look at everything going on right now and what we might come to expect in the near future.
Eoin covers a lot – this is an hour-long analysis. Everything from our era of cheap money and interest rates, to “green energy”, autonomous vehicles, aerospace and defence, zombie companies, some of the kinds of “flash in the pan” stocks around right now and much, much more.
Importantly, as he concludes, he makes a very genuine and sincere point about the most important thing we can do today with regard to coronavirus.
These are just some of the considerations we’re looking at when we’re filtering through and assessing the kinds of stocks we bring to you in your monthly updates.
The world is in a precarious position which has been a number of years in the making and will take a number of years to fully play out. That puts markets in a dangerous place, a place in which it can be hard for investors to make the right calls as to where to seek returns.
However, when you can recognise and understand where these dangers exist, you can make smarter moves to best mitigate and try avoid them.
